Terms of Use (EULA)
Welcome to SpyLens. These Terms of Use ("Terms", "Agreement") govern your access to and use of the SpyLens: Hidden Camera & Privacy Detector iOS mobile application (Apple App ID: 6813280271) provided by our team ("we", "our", or "us").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using SpyLens, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not install or use the application.
1. License Grant and Permitted Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SpyLens on your Apple-branded iOS devices that you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial privacy awareness and inspection purposes.
2. Subscription Billing & Auto-Renewal (Apple Guideline 3.1.2)
SpyLens offers premium features (including deep subnet scanning, advanced optical strobe filtering, and exportable inspection reports) via auto-renewing subscription plans and lifetime purchases:
- Weekly Subscription: $6.99 per week (includes a 3-day free trial where applicable).
- Annual Subscription: $29.99 per year ($2.50/month billed annually).
- Lifetime Access: $49.99 one-time purchase.
Billing & Renewal Terms
- Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
- Account Renewal Charge: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the specified tier rate.
- Managing and Canceling Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time through your iPhone's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- Free Trial Forfeiture: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Refunds: All purchases and refund requests are subject to Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and must be initiated through Apple Support (reportaproblem.apple.com).
3. Disclaimer of Warranties: Assistive Tool Only
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: SpyLens is an assistive inspection tool engineered to help users identify potential privacy threats through electronic, optical, and network anomalies. No software or mobile application can guarantee 100% detection of all surveillance devices, covert bugs, or concealed cameras. Environmental factors, optical coatings, wall materials, and advanced hardware may affect detection results. SpyLens must always be used in combination with diligent manual and physical room inspections.
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
4. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use SpyLens for any of the following unauthorized purposes:
- To invade the lawful privacy rights of others or engage in illegal surveillance, eavesdropping, or wiretapping.
- To reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code of the application.
- To probe, exploit, or attempt to compromise private network infrastructure without authorization.
5. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SPYLENS OR ITS DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PRIVACY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR DATA LOSS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION.
6. Intellectual Property
All software, designs, graphics, icons, algorithms, and documentation contained in SpyLens are the exclusive property of SpyLens and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
