1. The Core Principle: 100% On-Device Processing
Zero Data Collection: SpyLens is engineered to perform all device discovery, camera filtering, and magnetic calculations directly on your iPhone. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any of your personal data, network traffic, photos, or sensor readings.
2. Permissions Requested & Purpose
To inspect your surroundings for concealed surveillance equipment, SpyLens requests the following system permissions:
- Local Network Permission (
NSLocalNetworkUsageDescription): Enables the app to scan your current Wi-Fi subnet, query Bonjour/mDNS services, and resolve the ARP cache to identify suspicious IP cameras and streaming ports. This network data is processed entirely in your device's temporary memory and is immediately discarded when you close or reset the scan. - Camera Permission (
NSCameraUsageDescription): Enables the live optical viewfinder and rear flashlight strobe. This assists you in detecting specular retro-reflections from curved pinhole lenses. No photos, videos, or camera feeds are ever recorded, saved to your photo library, or uploaded to any cloud server. - Motion & Magnetometer (CoreMotion): Measures ambient electromagnetic flux density to identify magnetic electronic components. No location or user biometric data is linked to these sensor readings.
3. In-App Purchases and Subscription Data
All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed securely by Apple through the official StoreKit framework. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card numbers, billing addresses, or payment details. Apple manages your transaction data in accordance with Apple's own Privacy Policy.
4. Analytics and Crash Reporting
We may receive aggregated, anonymous technical crash diagnostics provided automatically by Apple through App Store Connect (opt-in by user). This telemetry contains no personally identifiable information (PII) and is used exclusively to maintain application stability and performance.

SpyLens does not integrate third-party advertising networks, data brokers, or user tracking SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
